Two amazing nights this fall: thought-provoking speakers, important discussions of free speech, global security, overcoming homelessness, and special research panels from our own in-house experts working to advance opportunity for all Washingtonians. Thanks to our sponsors, members, and Pillar Society for making it all possible.

Looking for a great partner who loves the State of Washington and the power of philanthropy. Let's make both even better. And with this team and donor community, we'll have fun while making a profound difference for the people of our state.

Todd has been a leading voice for WPC for nearly 20 years -- and for environmental issues locally and nationally even longer. We're so glad he'll continue to find the facts and shape the important conversations in Washington for years to come.

Reposting Don's quick and candid comment out of respect for the extraordinary time he has invested and the tens of thousands of miles he has traveled to encourage leaders and families to question the status quo. There are great schools and sensational caring teachers out there for sure, but when Washington puts $19,000 into its system annually for every student (nearly a half-million dollars for a class of 26!) in our state to achieve 39% proficiency in math and 51% in English, we have to look for new ways to equip our children for the bright futures we all want for them.

Emily Bingaman is #hiring. Know anyone who might be interested in advancing the care of animals while working with a fabulous dean, faculty and development team? They just opened the premier veterinary diagnostic lab on the planet and will begin renovating the largest facility at Iowa State. Ames is an amazing place -- one of the truly great "college towns" in America.

After devoting the year to King County and the incredible work the YMCA of Greater Seattle does for young people, families, and our community, I'm honored to join the Washington Policy Center's efforts for governmental accountability and economic opportunity for all citizens across our great state. Washington is such a special place with unsurpassed natural assets, industry-defining innovation, and courageous leaders in agriculture, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and corporate social responsibility. I look forward to supporting everyone interested in investing in the promise of an even brighter future for generations to come in the Pacific Northwest.

Keynote Tod Leiweke asked what Seattle's Y founders would think if they could see us 147 years later. I'm guessing they'd say the same thing as honorees Maggie Walker and Megan Rapinoe...anything is possible when we work together. Plenty of proof at the aptly named Summit for Changemakers 2023.

We're #hiring. If you want to help young people find their best paths, believe in healthy bodies, minds and spirits, and/or see the Puget Sound as a caring and generous region capable of creating #opportunity for all, please check out the Y today. #rewarding
