My overall experience was so so. Don't waste thousands of dollars learning a trade and have some fat slob Instructor disclose your grade and tell you in front of the entire class room you are FAILING! and will not make it through school. This particular Instructor was very rude and unprofessional. Your dedication to your students should be obvious in the way you address then and in your presence in the school.
Belinda, The School Administrator at Milan Institute in Sparks was amazing. She was very understanding, compassionate, and a good leader. I believe it takes a strong and successful role model that are essential to thriving in your education. Thank you so Belinda for your dedication to students, commitment, and guidance.
Thank you.

I feel it is a friendly college. People are happy and inviting. The school is really positive and staff is encouraging. I would change the location it is sorta in odd location. This is a small private school which i prefer much more than large setting school.

in Milan at the students center is really good because you can use the computer lab, or do your homework , and get tutoring from other kids to help me with my work.

Unfortunately the administration at Milan in Sparks is inexperienced and very unprofessional. The way they interact with the students makes me feel that I am in a court ordered program instead of a program when I am treated as an adult. I am paying $15k plus to go to this school and we have no hot water in which to wash our hands, we have no supplies to complete our lab work. The Director is never available and when she is she gives you an attitude. She comes and goes as she pleases without any set schedule. I am just very disappointed in this school as they push "professionalism" down our throats and they are anything but.

Career services can be very arbitrary. A lot of times they do not do their job and when a student takes it upon themselves to try and find their own externship, then the ladies in career services have some sort of vendetta against that student. It's very unprofessional.

When a student is absent (because life does happen) they will drop your grade significantly. You could be an A student and have to miss 2 days and you end up with a C. They try to stress that they do this because this is how it is in the "real world" sorry, but in the 'real world" employers know that emergencies come up and there are times when you need to miss school. It certainly doesn't stop the administrator from coming in when ever she wants in the morning, with no set schedule. Now THAT is unprofessional.

Unfortunately the level of drama that goes on in the school, not only by the students but the Director as well, is unacceptable. They allow anyone to enroll with no sort of indication that they will assimilate well or even do well in class. When this happens, they make no accommodation to help the student, they just drop them, all the while taking their money. I am very disappointed in the fact that when the old Director left, they automatically placed the Dean in that position. She is in no way equipped to handle a business, let alone know how to act in a professional manner.

The school in not very involved with the students needs. There is nowhere to go when a student has a problem, they just brush it off and make excuses.

Awesome Morning MA program – I love Milan!!! I had the best instructor and i am so glad that i decided to go back to school. If you decide to do the MA program i would recommend you take the morning class with Dave Rice!! He is the best instructor and he created the MA program! It is alot of work but it is totally worth it!! i wouldn't change anything!!
